END OF COURSE TESTING  - EOCT

  • Identifies students strengths & areas of need in learning
  • Provides data to evaluate the effectiveness of classroom instruction
  • Students are required to take EOCT upon completion of course
  • EOCTs count as the final exam and 20% of the grade
  • Failing an EOCT can effect GRADUATION!

  • Required by all 10th  grade students 
  • Provided to selected 11th grade students 
  • Students are provided with an information and practice bulletin

  • Early diagnostic information to foster improvement
  • Identification of additional students for AP courses
